In short: Ext-Ray collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no servers or accounts. Everything it does happens entirely on your own device.
None. Ext-Ray does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive information. It has no backend, no analytics, no telemetry, and no user accounts, and it makes no network requests of any kind.
Ext-Ray uses Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) to save,
only on your own computer:
This information never leaves your device, is never sent anywhere, and is removed when you uninstall Ext-Ray.
Ext-Ray reads the list of your installed extensions and their declared metadata, together with Chrome's own permission warnings, to calculate security and privacy risk scores on your device. This access is read-only. Ext-Ray never enables, disables, or removes another extension unless you explicitly click a button to do so.
Ext-Ray requests no host permissions and cannot read the content of any web page.
None. Because Ext-Ray collects no data, there is nothing to share with anyone.
Ext-Ray holds no personal data about you on any server, so there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or delete on your behalf. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its locally stored data from your device.
Ext-Ray is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
